THE JANET GOESKE LEGACY
BE ACTIVE. EAT HEALTHY. STAY CONNECTED. HAVE FUN.
On May 18, 1984, The Janet Goeske Center opened it’s doors to serve Riverside’s older adults.

Janet Goeske
Senior Activist
1929- 1993
A woman of selfless service to others, fervor, humor, and best of all, audacity. She began the development of the Janet Goeske Center, a place for people “to come alive at 55”. Her tenacity to build a place to build up those in need led her to accomplish the incredible feat of bringing together many different agencies, government and community organizations alike.

The Janet Goeske Center is a state of the art facility where seniors in the community feel a sense of belonging and purpose.
"We bring laughter, fun, and compassion to everything we do."

Our Staff is a dedicated team of highly engaged individuals who strive to make our center a thriving place to be.
"To serve our community through the Janet Goeske Foundation is truly an honor and a privilege."

Our Board of Directors upholds our mission to enrich the lives of our senior community.
